  AURORA was formed during the Great Northeast Blackout of 2003. That was when our entire electric grid collapsed. The generators that we depended on to protect us ended up being very noisy, smelling bad, and often failing. Being frustrated with the generators available, we decided to abandon traditional generators and build our own. We grew our business by focusing on meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations.
